The Fifth International Congress of Qualitative Inquiry will be held e at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign from May 20-23, 2009. The theme of the conference is “Advancing Human Rights Through Qualitative Inquiry.”? Presentation submissions will be accepted online 10/1/08 until 12/1/08. Conference and workshop registration begins 12/1/2008.

The American Educational Research Association (AERA) invites education policy (and practice) related research proposals using NCES, NSF, and other national databases. Research Grants are available for faculty at institutions of higher education, postdoctoral researchers, and other doctoral-level researchers. Proposals for Research Grants will be reviewed three times a year, with funding decisions made within a month of the review date. Upcoming deadlines for proposals are:
