OTT Inducts New Members

The Eta Chapter of Omicron Tau Theta inducted 11 new members in their spring ceremony. The initiation ceremony was held at the Center on Education and Training for Employment (CETE) at 1900 Kenny Rd. in the main auditorium.

Omicron Tau Theta sponsored an international study presentation at the Center on Education and Training for Employment, featuring Dr. Moriki Terada of Nagoya University (Japan), Dr. Matthias Pilz of University of Freiburg (Germany), Dr. Seung IL Na of Seoul National University (South Korea) and Chris Zirkle, The Ohio State University. Papers were presented on various topics related to education and training for the workplace. Attendance was sparse but the conversation was lively.

The Eta Chapter of Omicron Tau Theta, along with the Center on Education and Training for Employment, held an appreciation dinner at the University Plaza Hotel honoring the employees of the National Dissemination Center for Career and Technical Education, which was housed at The Ohio State University from 2000-2006. Dinner was served and NDC staff shared their most memorable events from their time at the NDC. Twenty-three OTT members attended the event.

As part of an ongoing effort to assist teacher candidates with the PRAXIS assessments, OTT helped produce and distribute more than 500 CD’s of study materials for teacher candidates across the Columbus campus and the four regional campuses.
