Meet Dr. Moore
I am an applied linguist and a linguistic anthropologist. My research examines the social and cultural patterning of language and literacy development in communities whose members use multiple languages and participate in multiple schooling traditions.
I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Teaching and Learning, a core faculty member of Language, Education, and Society (LES) and Foreign and Second Language Education (FSLED). I teach courses on linguistics, second language acquisition, and language socialization.
Visit the pages listed above to learn more about me and my research, teaching, and publications (including links to pdfs). You can also visit my T&L page.
In 2009-10 I teach 2 doctoral seminars: 906 Language Socialization and 925.45 Second Language Acquisition (see the Autumn schedule for details).
